"I have been training with Dan now for 6 weeks and well on my way to losing a stone in weight. I am rather large lady but with Dan I have built up my stamina and confidence. Personal training sessions with Dan are brilliant. I would recommend him to anyone. I had been considering hiring a personal trainer for a while, as I felt I wasn't getting much out of my solo gym sessions. What appealed to me about Dan was his experience and extensive knowledge due to his highly specialised degree. This knowledge shines through in his tailor made sessions, which are constantly adjusted to suit you and only you. As a dance teacher I'm very used to telling other people what to do and coming up with ideas, and it's really enjoyable having someone else do it for me! The sessions are pitched at the ideal level of difficulty, (extremely challenging) and you feel very safe and confident in following Dan's instructions as they do give real, visible results - weight loss, reduced body fat, increased muscle, and improved levels of fitness to name a few. Dan also advises you on the best diet and nutrition to support your fitness goals and is great for keeping you accountable! Through my sessions I've also discovered a passion for rowing which is something Dan has since incorporated and encouraged me to pursue. Dan has been excellent as a personal trainer, and I never thought in a million years that we would achieve what we have. At the age of 60, I had got in to some very lazy ways and poor eating habits. I needed to lose weight and sort out my attitude towards food and exercise. Dan is extremely knowledgeable about everything to do with fitness, health and nutrition, and he is a great person. The sessions are hard work but I actually look forward to them. Dan gives us the motivation to succeed, always encouraging and helpful. He has a great sense of humour, but at the same time takes his role very seriously and so expects us to do the same. He is an amazing motivator and very professional.
